Le bruit peut \u00eatre d\u00fb \u00e0 un jeu axial excessif de l&#8217;arbre d&#8217;essieu.<\/p>\n<p>Pour d\u00e9terminer l&#8217;origine du bruit sourd, appliquer d&#8217;abord la p\u00e9dale de frein pendant qu&#8217;un autre technicien secoue l\u00e9g\u00e8rement le v\u00e9hicule avec une force lat\u00e9rale sur le plateau du camion, \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 du feu arri\u00e8re. Si le bruit persiste quand la p\u00e9dale de frein est appliqu\u00e9e, rechercher un mouvement excessif du tenon de ressort \u00e0 lames ou des d\u00e9bris dans les lames de ressort. Pour de plus amples renseignements, se reporter au bulletin n\u00b0 17-NA-394.<\/p>\n<p>Si le bruit intervient uniquement quand la p\u00e9dale de frein n&#8217;est pas appliqu\u00e9e, rechercher un jeu axial excessif dans l&#8217;essieu arri\u00e8re. (Fig. 12) Si la mesure de jeu axial atteint ou d\u00e9passe 0,32\u00a0mm (0,0126\u00a0po), les blocages en C de rechange peuvent \u00eatre install\u00e9s sans interf\u00e9rence (examiner le bulletin n\u00b0 20-NA-156 pour une exception sur l&#8217;essieu arri\u00e8re bloquant G80). Si le jeu axial est inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 0,32 mm (0,0126\u00a0po), les blocages en C de rechange peuvent \u00eatre install\u00e9s. (Fig. 13, n\u00b0\u00a01) Veiller \u00e0 ne pas endommager le joint d&#8217;essieu en poussant l&#8217;arbre d&#8217;essieu vers l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur.
