Ce bruit pourrait provenir des ressorts \u00e0 lames arri\u00e8re. Dans certains cas, le raccord du ressort \u00e0 lames arri\u00e8re gauche a pu \u00eatre contamin\u00e9 par du diesel lors du ravitaillement.<\/p>\n<p>Si une contamination du carburant est constat\u00e9e, il convient de remplacer le raccord du ressort \u00e0 lames gauche (Fig. 4). V\u00e9rifier la partie avant du ressort \u00e0 lames pour d\u00e9tecter tout signe de contamination par du diesel, notamment la pr\u00e9sence de r\u00e9sidus visibles ou d&#8217;humidit\u00e9 au niveau du raccord du ressort \u00e0 lames avant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CONSEIL :<\/strong> le joint en mousse situ\u00e9 autour du tuyau de remplissage de carburant est con\u00e7u pour emp\u00eacher les gouttes de carburant et les petits d\u00e9versements accidentels de contaminer le ressort \u00e0 lames et d&#8217;autres composants. En cas de retour important de carburant ou de d\u00e9versement important de carburant dans le compartiment, il convient de s&#8217;efforcer de retirer l&#8217;exc\u00e8s de carburant des composants susceptibles d&#8217;avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9s au diesel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Raccord de ressort \u00e0 lames<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>V\u00e9rifier que les ressorts \u00e0 lames arri\u00e8re et les \u00e9triers ne pr\u00e9sentent aucun dommage. Les ressorts ou les manilles endommag\u00e9s doivent \u00eatre remplac\u00e9s conform\u00e9ment aux proc\u00e9dures d\u00e9crites dans les informations d&#8217;entretien correspondantes.<\/p>\n<p>S&#8217;il n&#8217;y a pas de dommage, installer de nouveaux raccord sur chaque ressort \u00e0 lames arri\u00e8re (Fig. 6). Nettoyer toute salet\u00e9 ou tout d\u00e9bris pr\u00e9sent entre les ressorts \u00e0 lames.<\/p>\n<p>La tige du nouveau raccord devra \u00eatre raccourcie \u00e0 6 mm (0,24 po). Une fois le raccord correctement positionn\u00e9, retirer l&#8217;outil de r\u00e9glage ou la cale en plastique pour refermer le ressort et mettre le nouveau raccord en place. R\u00e9p\u00e9ter cette proc\u00e9dure pour l&#8217;autre raccord de ressort \u00e0 lames.<\/p>\n<p><strong>REMARQUE :<\/strong> les nouveaux raccords de pointe de ressort ont une p\u00e9riode de rodage allant jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 1 000 miles (1 610 km), on peut donc s&#8217;attendre \u00e0 un certain bruit apr\u00e8s l&#8217;installation des nouveaux raccords.<\/p>\n<p>N&#8217;utiliser aucun type de lubrifiant sur les nouveaux raccords \u00e0 ressort. Ils sont con\u00e7us pour fonctionner sans aucun lubrifiant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joint en mousse pour le tuyau de remplissage de carburant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Si vous constatez une contamination du carburant, v\u00e9rifier si le joint d&#8217;\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 autour du tuyau de remplissage est manquant ou endommag\u00e9. Si le joint est endommag\u00e9 ou manquant, il est possible d&#8217;installer un nouveau joint en mousse autour du tuyau \u00e0 l&#8217;aide d&#8217;un coussin en mousse de poly\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne haute densit\u00e9 disponible dans le commerce. Nettoyer tout r\u00e9sidu de carburant pr\u00e9sent sur l&#8217;orifice de remplissage et le tuyau avant d&#8217;installer la nouvelle bande en mousse de poly\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne dans l&#8217;orifice de remplissage.
